Naoto understood why the gun was pointed at her after the other said ‘get down’. She listened to the other and dove to the ground hard. She turned her head and saw a few feet away from where she was standing was a Shadow falling to the ground dead. She didn’t even want to think how bad of a situation she would be in if the other didn’t kill that Shadow. She stood up when it was safe and her attention turned to the masked male, or at least she thought the other was male.
“Thank you for doing that. But I was saying that you need to leave this town immediately, this fog is dangerous. It changes people and not in a good way. I can help you get out of the fog but past that you are on your own.”
“A kind offer from a beautiful damsel, but I’m afraid I’m going to have to decline.”
He slowly walks towards the exit of the alley, he wasn’t aware that this fog was so harmful, this just raises his suspicion that ‘he’ might be in this town, so it mattered little for him if the fog changes him, or the city’s crawling with shadows, the masked thief would see the end of his mission no matter what. For his friends, for Morgana, for his own self.
“I have some…unfinished business to attend to.”
