It’s rather busy and loud in the city, which he isn’t so concerned about. In fact the point was he had managed to end up here without knowing how was a bit much. Was this his timeline? Was this a place that he had been familiar with? The mute slowly opened his eyes to reveal steel colored orbs that stared off distantly. Almost like a newborn child seeing the outside world for the first time, and yet it began to cripple him. The sun’s rays were vanishing while setting itself down to the other side of the Earth, darkness creeping in it’s usual manner.
No.
He takes a look around himself to realize that the bustle of the city was gone opposed to how it was several minutes ago. The moon rose to it’s highest peak in the sky not too long after while an eerie feeling starts to blossom inside of him.
Sickness plagues his stomach while he falls to one knee, groaning softly as the scent of blood was strong. There couldn’t be and there shouldn’t be a Tartarus here! Whatever was happening was reacting to his presence solely, the puddles of water suddenly illuminating pure red.
Fear struck while a single bright blue butterfly…..flew across the skies without a care in the world while sirens began to sound.
A young boy, probably not older than 16, was walking with a blank expression on his face towards his school, it was but just another day chained into a live of boring mediocrity. It was quite odd, when the boys turns into the Phantom, he knows exactly who he is, it’s like the boy finds identity in what he does, he’s cocky, brave, a little bit poetic, a roguish hero with a set of ideals. But when he’s not wearing the mask, the glasses-wearer was a quite different person, he’s aloof, quiet, mostly expresionless and generally polite, it’s like an ordinary life takes all the energy he has, like a leech, slowly sucking his blood, The boy would’ve grown completely apathetic beyond belief if it weren’t for his secret life and his newfound friends.
The boy all of a sudden ceased his walk, feeling a slightly odd sensation on the back of his brain, it was almost if he was ‘feeling’ a presence there with him. He turns around to see if there was someone behind him. There wasn’t, however, something catches his eye, a slight cyan butterfly starts to fly towards him, the boy felt like he has already seen this before not too long ago.
He lifts his index finger to let the butterfly land on it, however, as soon as the little creature touches his skin, the boy widens his eyes, as multiple flashes of a young blue-haired boy starts to get into his mind. Such a sudden surprise made the boy sick to his stomach. Out of context visions just kept going through one by one, until the last one appears a young blue-haired boy collapsing on the floor.
And without any further context, the butterfly flies out of his hand, ending the visions as the boy tries to catch his breath, what was that supposed to mean? He just stares confused at the small creature flying to the opposite direction he was going, perhaps..it wants him to follow?
Without a second thought he immediately starts to run towards the bug, hoping that it would give him a clue of what just happened.
