magatsleuth wants emancipation
There it was, Inaba, one of the most peaceful and quiet towns of Japan, the perfect place to visit if you’re on vacation looking for a relaxing experience Who would’ve known that the boy’s first experience with the place would’ve beenup in a interrogation room.
It was just the same old talk, someoe has stolen a famous chairman, and they immediatelly suspects the newcomer, the boy didn’t blame them, they were only doing their jobs, however, the entire process was just so tedious, he knows for a fact that the officers doesn’t have anything that proves he’s the thief, aside from being in the city at the same time the crime occurred.
The young man just kept looking at the detective with a blank expression, he knew exactly how this would go down, he’ll ask a couple of questions, pretend to be on their sides, perhaps even lie a little about having a lot of dirt on him, they’ll keep going with this facade for 4 hours which is the maximum they can keep him there without any evidence and then he’ll finally get out of there. This wasn’t the first time he has dealt with the police, and probably wouldn’t be the last.
“Sir, I don’t want to bother you, but do you have any proof that I’m the thief?”
“If you don’t, I believe you’re wasting your time on questioning me.” He utters in the most soft-spoken tone possible, say what you will about the glasses-wearer, he really knows how to put up a facade.
